Determine TEFAP Eligibility

First, determine if the neighbor is eligible to receive TEFAP food using the income guidelines on the TEFAP 832 Household Eligibility Criteria Form. The TEFAP 832 Form, and more in-depth instructions on determining eligibility for the TEFAP program, can be found on the Partner Resources page: https://www.acfb.org/partner-resources/.

From the Partner Resources page, scroll down and click “Current Partner.” Next, scroll down and click “Forms & Reporting,” and then finally “TEFAP Forms.” Click “TEFAP 832 Household Eligibility Criteria Form.”

Update Case Information in Oasis

Go to the case in Oasis and select “Edit Case.” Click the “Income & Expenses” tab and enter the neighbor’s income if it is provided. Next, go to the “Demographics” tab and scroll down to the question “Does the Household Qualify for TEFAP?” Choose the applicable answer (“Yes,” “No,” or “Not Asked”) and then click “Save Changes.”

Based on your answer regarding the neighbor’s TEFAP qualification, you will now see a banner on the neighbor’s case indicating whether the neighbor is, or is not, eligible to receive TEFAP food.
