Grants FAQ’s

What is the purpose of the Partner Grants Portal tool?

The Partner Grants Portal is designed to simplify the grant application and reporting process. It allows applicants to complete and submit grant applications efficiently while providing easy access to information about current and past grant opportunities.

How do I access the application in the Portal?

For invited applicants only, you will receive an email from partner.grants@acfb.org with the subject line: You have been invited: XYZ Application.

In the email, click the invitation link to log in to the Partner Grants Portal. Once you have been invited to apply, you can access your application by clicking the application invitation link in the email you received.

To sign in:

1. Click the application invitation link in your email or navigate to the Partner Grants Portal.

2. Enter the email address that received the application invitation.

3. A one-time passcode will be sent to your email. Enter this passcode to sign in. A new one-time passcode will be required each time you log in.

Can I collaborate with others in my organization to complete the application?

Yes. However, the collaborator’s name and email address must first be listed as an active contact for your organization in Food Bank’s records. Your County Relationship Manager (CRM) can help confirm the active contacts on your organization’s account or add new contacts if needed.

Once this has been completed, Food Bank staff can add additional collaborators to the grant application. All collaborators will be working on the same active application, so it’s important to communicate and coordinate who will complete each section to avoid working on the same part of the application at the same time.

Can I save my application and return later?

Yes, applications and reports are automatically saved every few minutes. You can resume your application later if the due date has not passed.

Can I edit my application after submitting it?

Edits can be made only if the application is still within the submission window and has not been reviewed.
